It is the beginning of a new academic year, and we are excited to start the new year off with Opening Convocation and the Installation of President Dr. Jay Simmons on Tuesday, August 13, at 11:00 am CT. Following the ceremony, we will be hosting a community lunch at 12:00 pm. As this is a hybrid event, you can watch the celebration via live stream on Facebook, or for those planning to attend in person, you have the option to join the celebration on either the Kansas or Oklahoma Campuses.
We are delighted to share that this year's Opening Convocation Address Speaker is Dr. Emanuel Cleaver III. In addition to being a Saint Paul alum, Dr. Cleaver is a pastor, author, coach, and teacher. His messages and leadership have led to many changes and new programs under his tutelage.
